Jenny's Journey...Why These Specialties
Walking with God for 32 years, only by his grace....
For many years in college & in the singles group at church, I was always looking for my husband...hoping he was just around the corner. Yet having to surrender my dreams of marriage completely to God, I even asked God to take it away. Maybe this would be easier if God just took that desire away, I thought...& prayed. But, no. I was clearly meant to serve God with the opportunities that He had provided me & be content. This led to beautiful & incredible experiences ministering in Japan, Belize, Uganda, & Ukraine as a single woman.
After a Spirit led, completely honest, transparent, & fully communicating courtship with my fiance, I married the man of my dreams. We walk together, supporting each other one day at a time by the mercy & grace of Christ. And continue dreaming.
In the states, I have always been interested by the plight of the ex-patriot, the missionary in transition, reverse culture shock, re-entry stress, & refugees. As my husband was in seminary, I was a youth minster to youth from Asia & Africa. This furthered my desire to empower the cross cultural process & allowed me to practice coaching & ministry to people in transition.
Having attended 30 missions conferences, married a missionary & pastor, & served with many ministries, I desire to assist Christians, ministries, & mission boards in defining their crystal clear vision, purpose, & mission statements. Gaining this laser point accuracy allows them to have a mile deep impact,
instead of spreading their resources a mile wide.
In the midst of creating & counseling/coaching, I have been aware that I am half artist, half helping professional. Wedding, family, & nature photography, mosaic stained glass art, writing, & other art I could find to create that was aesthetically pleasing, was also feeding my soul. After years of dreaming of helping women discover & invest their God given dreams & talents, I dove into life coaching with the catalyst of the Institute for Life Coach Training under the International Coach Federation. This began a beautiful & challenging new transformation in my own life & the lives of my coaching clients. I feel like I've come home.
